Jess' art practice is centered around the experiences of people with marginalized bodies and how they intersect with and relate to the environment.

Themes often revisited in her work echo feeling small in a big spaces, the cycles of life, and reconnecting with the world around us.

Her impetus for creating work is the result of residual and generational trauma of growing up in a society obsessed with  image ideals.

In addition to her art practice Jess has 15+ years of commercial experience with weddings, portrait, landscape and product photography, and social media content creation.

She seeks to work with brands & companies who are inclusive of BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S, and Fat communities.

Jess is an artist member of Light Rider Studios in Corvallis.

Light Rider Studios is a community darkroom, artist hub, and digital printing studio.
